Playa del Carmen, Mexico is located in the heart of the Riviera Maya. The town offers beautiful beaches and a relaxed atmosphere with a significant Italian and general European influence. Playa del Carmen's coast also offers good scuba diving as well as underground cave "cenote" diving and access to nearby Mayan ruins.
